Snow-Covered Grassroots Organizing

Since my “spring” break looks like this:

I decided it’s time to start planning out a new grassroots organization. I’m still kicking around different ideas but one thing I do notice lacking in Indiana is a specific avenue for teachers’ voices to get heard in any significant way.

While I know the best way I can help change along is through teaching children to develop critical thinking and problem solving skills, but it’s just not enough. I need to DO something. I’ve contacted many organizations so far and heard back from one other educational activist.

Many lists later…I’m still not quite sure how to do this but I’ve found lots of resources! Stay tuned.
