One Teacher's Voice

Think.Learn.Know.Act

A fantastic opportunity

I just wish I had a class to do this with.  I love the idea of using Occupy Wall Street as a beginning to an entire unit using inquiry instruction.  There are so many possible discussions and questions to ask.  Why is money important?  How is the wealth distributed?  Why should we stand up for what we believe in?  There are connections not only with current events (which I believe should be a crucial part of any curriculum) but also history, social studies, and of course a chance to practice critical thinking and critical inquiry.
